About this event

Bookings for this morning's meeting are now closed, but you can still join us live via Zoom by clicking here.

Please note that due to a technical hitch, we are unfortunately not able to live stream the meeting via Facebook.

As part of the new Woodgate development, a new community hub with a shop, cafe and meeting space will be created for the surrounding community to use and enjoy. These meetings will be an opportunity for both new and existing residents of Pease Pottage and Woodgate to hear more about the ambitions to make this hub a truly community owned and run enterprise. The meeting will be hosted by Plunkett and Thakeham and will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and to share your ideas on how to create a community hub for everyone.

Meeting agenda

  • Welcome and introduction
  • Outline of the community hub plans
  • What is a community business and why is it different
  • How will we work together to create a community business in the heart of Woodgate

Discussion

There will be an opportunity for everyone to ask any questions they might have and to input on the services and activities you would like to see taking place. This will be an open discussion with open contributions and questions from everyone attending with an interest in the Woodgate development and the creation of a community hub with shop, cafe and meeting spaces. We will also outline the next steps and how you can be more involved!

The meeting dates shown here will cover the same agenda items so it is recommended you register to join one session only. Everyone registered will receive an email with a Zoom link to log into the meeting ahead of the scheduled date, so please keep an eye on your inboxes.

Please be aware that Plunkett and Thakeham will share a summary of the meeting to the email provided at the point of registration. You can opt out to receive any further communications - either at the point of registration or by emailing sustainability@thakeham.com
